Our French wine map and Wine 101, our online course on the basics of wine: the poster ships to you, the eight lessons open right away.
Heads up: the print is in French for now (regions, appellations, grape varieties). An English edition is on the way.
Made on demand · ships in 4-7 days
The map shows you where every French wine comes from. The course shows you what is going on in the glass. Together they are the starter kit we would give a friend who wants to get into wine, so we put them in one set.
You pay once and two things happen. Within a few minutes, the Academy emails you your access to Wine 101: sign in at academy.winemakersshow.com with the email you paid with and you can start lesson 1 tonight. The map is printed for your order and arrives in about 4 to 7 days, rolled and ready for a standard 50 x 70 cm frame.
By the time it is on the wall, you will know what to look for on it.

Lesson 1 of Wine 101 is free to watch on the course page, so you can see how we teach first.
Prefer them separately? The French wine map and Wine 101 are also sold on their own.
Two things. Our French wine map, a 50 x 70 cm poster of all 14 wine regions of France with their grapes, printed and shipped to you. And Wine 101, our online course: eight video lessons on the basics of wine, about two and a half hours in all.
Right after you pay, the Academy emails you your access at the address you used at checkout. Sign in at academy.winemakersshow.com with that email: we send you a code, so there is no password to remember. The map ships on its own, in about 4 to 7 days.
Yes. The course opens for the email used at checkout, so if it is for someone else, reply to the Academy's access email (or write to winemakersshow@gmail.com) with their address and we move the course to them, usually within a day. Put their postal address at checkout and the map goes straight to them. One set per order: for a second set, place a second order.
Not really: you would be paying for the course twice. The French wine map is sold on its own for €32.
The map is drawn and labelled in French, the way the regions and grapes are named at home in France: Bordeaux, Champagne, Merlot and Pinot Noir read the same in any language. The course is in English.
No. It is 50 x 70 cm (about 20 x 28 in), the standard large poster size, so it drops straight into any off-the-shelf 50 x 70 frame. We ship it rolled to keep it safe in transit.
The map is printed on demand and shipped from the production facility nearest you, then delivered in about 4 to 7 days. Shipping is 6 euros in Europe, 12 euros in North America and 18 euros elsewhere. The course does not wait for the post: it opens as soon as you have paid.
Email winemakersshow@gmail.com within 14 days of buying and we refund the course's share of the set: everything you paid above the map's own price of €32, so €17 at the full price. You keep the map. It is printed for your order, so like all our posters it is not returned for a change of mind, and we replace or refund one that arrives damaged.
